Objective:
As Brand Communication Manager responsible for:

•  Develop brand and communication strategies in line with the commercial agenda
•  Prepare (in consultation with Consumer manager)  annual ATL/BTL budgets to include objectives, strategy and its impacts on Brand health and revenue
•  Developing and coordinating Consumer communication investments
•  Ensuring consistency and guidelines compliance of all communication
•  Monitoring competitors’ decisions on media and consumer communication
•  Accomplishing media and consumer communications budget

Core tasks & responsibilities
Leader:

•  Actively participates in (team) meetings
•  Is responsible for own development by  1) actively preparing and participating in his/her own appraisal meetings in the performance management cycle and  2) actively participating in training & development activities
•  Meets frequently with the Brand Communication Manager, and other relevant members of the Consumer, and Go to market departments
•  Forms relevant functional relationships at all levels in the organisation

Manager:

•  Works according to People policies and procedures
•  Ensures that relevant information is received, delivered and transferred on time
•  Interprets the feedback from relevant functional areas and converts them into action plan
•  Provides input for the Brand communications planning cycle
•  Contributes to the development and implementation of the Brand communications action plan

Ambassador:

•  Contributes to company’s network(s) in own area of expertise
•  Makes optimal use of external service suppliers and authorities in own area of responsibility

Entrepreneur/ Advertising and Media Management:

•  Responsible for planning and executing brand strategies and plans
•  Responsible for managing the process of brand communication (advertising) development
•  Responsible for managing the business relationship with Creative and Media agencies
•  Responsible for generating productive relationships with media providers to drive goodwill for the brand.

Qualification Required & Experience

Work & Educational Background:

•  University degree, preferably in marketing, communication, engineering or business administration
•  MBA or master student preferably in marketing
•  Experience in marketing with knowledge of advertising and media planning
