Job Vacancy For Brand Manager At Plato Consult Limited



The brand manager shall be responsible for managing brand development and growth and ensure that customers understand and are connected to the brand essence The role reports to the Head of Marketing.

Role Specific Requirements:

•  Maximize brand profitability by controlling consumer marketing spend and periodically contribute to brand profitability reporting during the budget review sessions of the Sales and Operational Planning process
•  Monitor brand sponsored programmes and campaign exploitation on Radio and TV, ensuring that these are on strategy
•  Carry out field monitoring and ensure that Outdoor and POS materials are in prime locations in the right channels and in the best state
•  Provide monthly reports and other reviews promptly highlighting key learning and implementing improvements using facts to ensure sales maximization and brand equity-building
•  Maximize sales by implementing branded programmes including advertising, promotions, merchandising and publicity

Qualification Required & Experience

Minimum Qualification:

•  1 year Field sales experience at a Managerial level in an FMCG
•  University Degree in business, sales or marketing
•  Consumer marketing experience with at least 2 years experience at a Managerial level in a fast moving consumer goods company
•  Basic understanding of key financial performance indicators (profit, value chain etc)
•  Working knowledge of English and/or French
