Keegan Resources Ghana Ltd. (“KRGL”) is a fully-­?owned subsidiary of Asanko Gold Inc., a company
which is building the Asanko Gold Mine, Ghana’s next goldmine. The vision of Asanko is to become a mid-tier gold mining company that maximizes value for all stakeholders.

KRGL is seeking to employ a qualified person to fill the role below. This is a permanent position with a competitive work roster resident in a single status camp environment. The camp’s facilities include fully serviced air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi access, laundry service, wet mess, sporting facilities (swimming pool, gym, volleyball/basketball, tennis, pool tables, table soccer, soccer grounds). Remuneration package includes attractive salary and performance based incentive payments.

Position: Camp Services Officer

Key Responsibilities:

•   Assist the Camp Unit Manager in the management of residential facilities as required;
•   Conduct constant camp inspections and follow up to ensure maintenance work is carried out;
•   Maintain up-to-date records of camp facilities;
•   Organize and control the entry and exit movement of workers and contractors into camp rooms;
•   Assist in administering on-site accommodation bookings;
•   Ensure workers housing needs and supplies are available at all times;
•   Assist with organizing, packing and shipment of personal goods during demobilization of expats;
•   Coordinate purchases of items for use at the camp and related facilities including the chophouses;
•   Assist in managing all camp services contracts (including cleaning, garden services, catering, bussing) to ensure strict adherence to contract agreement;
•   Supervise and control of staff transportation and assist in offsite flight bookings;

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Degree or HND in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
•   Minimum of two (2) years post qualification work experience in a similar position;
•   Ability to manage and anticipate the needs and requirements of 500+ residents of multi-culture mix;
•   Strong personality with good communication skills, both oral/written;
•   Able to pay attention to detail, be a team player and a self-starter
•   Good decision making and problem solving process skills;
•   Hands on job experience, able to work with minimum supervision, and for long hours;
•   Well developed oral and written communication skills;
•   Must possess a valid Ghanaian driving license;
