Purpose:
Provide change management support for medium-to-large scale, multi-function, multi-process and medium-to-high impact change initiatives.

Essential Duties:

•  Plan, schedule, and coordinate phases of change management work; create change assessments, impact studies, stakeholder analyses and communication plans.
•  Develop and implement strategic and innovative ideas to improve the effectiveness of change management. Work requires originality and judgment in the independent evaluation and development of optimal resolution for problems.
•  Engage with team members and client organizations to develop and execute workshops, training programs, special projects, programs and initiatives.
•  Work with change management leadership and client groups to facilitate the application of various change management approaches, frameworks, and methodologies.
•  Lead project management on a variety of initiatives.
•  Serve as a research and analysis resource to Change Management Lead.
•  Support research/document/content management within the portal and team sites.
•  Research, compile and prepare reports and presentations as needed.
•  Make significant contributions in the planning, management and conduct of surveys, tests, or investigations.  Help interpret results and prepare recommendations, summaries, schedules, and cost estimates.  Meet with representatives of other departments to assist with planning and scheduling activities.
•  Gather and evaluate regular change management metrics and create reports.
•  Ability to deal with ambiguity and operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
•  Contribute to conceptual and strategic thinking while maintaining a focus on operational excellence and day-to-day tactics.
•  Handle highly confidential and time sensitive material with tact and discretion; ability to confidently raise issues with leadership and peers.
•  Work and coordinate effectively with functional and support team members.  Collaborate with the Newmont global Change Capability team to ensure aligned application of NCC methods and tools to all change management projects and related activities.

Qualification Required & Experience

Working Conditions:

Position may be required to travel to, and assist other domestic and international sites.

Training & Experience:

•  BS degree in Psychology, Business, Human Resources or related organizational field with 7 – 10 years related experience.
•  Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience with change management and organizational development.
•  Highly analytical with strong problem solving skills.
•  Strong computer skills.  Proficient with MS Office.
•  Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
•  Attention to detail and complete follow through required.
•  Able to successfully multi-task and deal with multiple deadlines and priorities.
•  Ability to make sound decisions with minimal guidance amidst significant ambiguity.
