The Role

• The Board of Directors invites applications from highly qualified, results-driven and experienced banking professionals for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
• The CEO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring operational excellence and driving the bank's profitability while fulfilling its social mandate of rural financial inclusion

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and lead the execution of the Bank's business strategy and objectives
• Ensure the bank's financial sustainability, growth in assets, deposits, profitability and shareholder value
• Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, risk management and regulatory compliance with the Bank of Ghana and other relevant bodies
• Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, innovation and operational efficiency
• Develop and mentor a high-performing management team and promote a positive organizational culture
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, shareholders, regulators, traditional authorities and the community
• Oversee the implementation of robust technology-driven banking solutions to enhance service delivery
• Present regular and accurate reports on the bank's performance to the Board of Directors

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field from a recognized institution. A professional qualification (e.g, ICA Ghana, ACCA, CIMA) is a strong advantage
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in the banking/financial services sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role (e.g, Deputy CEO, Head of Department)
• Proven experience in strategic planning, financial management, risk management and rural or community banking
• In-depth knowledge of the Bank of Ghana's regulations, policies, directives and the rural banking landscape
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams to achieve outstanding results
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• High level of integrity, ethics and a deep commitment to rural development
