Job Summary

•  General Administration of the Libriary
•  Checking and keeping records of periodicals
•  Undertaking Book Box activities
•  Assist and supervise other library staff in the discharge of their duties
•  Indexing of articles in serial publication
•  Classification and catalogue of books
•  Perform other duties that may be assigned.

Qualification Required & Experience

•  A degree in Librarianship with a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience OR
•  Diploma in Librarianship with a minimum of five (5) years working experience
•  Should have working knowledge of Library operations
•  Ability to work with people of all age categories and educational background
•  Good communication and report writing skills
•  Ability to work independently

The successful candidate must be a resident of the Sekondi Takoradi Municipality
