Mission: Supervise and maintain the integrated certified management system (IMS) that fulfills the ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 standards. To lead the quality, health, safety and environmental functions in a manner that protects the company, employees, customers and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents by the development and enforcement of safe work practices.
• Develop and implement the procedures, systems, and records necessary to achieve and maintain certification for ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001
• Function as the lead person for all issues involving certification on ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 and lead internal audits
• Develop and maintain records, documentation, systems, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement
• Develop metrics to monitor continuous improvement and system effectiveness in the integrated certified management system (IMS) comprising the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
• Manage the internal audit program, including training of internal auditors and monitoring the outcome of the audits
• Prepare frequent and/or monthly status reports to management
• Promote safety and compliance in line with Local & Group requirements
• Maintain a code of conduct and ethics in compliance with Atlas Copco's policies and procedures
• Monitor progress of all work areas to ensure the SHEQ procedures are being implemented and strictly adhered to
• Conduct Risk Assessments and make safety recommendations for safety improvements as required following assessments
• Provide database support for Qnova Document Management System and be responsible for sustainability reporting
• Develop, implement, drive and sustain quality process improvements that focus on SHEQ
• Identify the SHEQ training needs and coordinate the SHEQ Committee
• Oversee legal compliance driven activities and bring to the notice of managers and supervisors all relevant practices and changes
• Carry out any other functions or duties as may be required in terms of "The Way We Do Things"
Qualification Required & Experience Experience requirements: • Three to Five years experience in SHEQ, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Implementation and Internal Audit
Knowledge: • Familiarity with ISO Standards and processes
• High level of computer literacy (Lotus Notes, MS Office Suite)
Educational requirements: • BSc in Business or related area
Personality requirements: • Must possess good communication skills and the ability to use them effectively
• Ability to interact with peers, subordinates and managers to provide solutions to business related problems
• The knowledge to perform root cause analysis and develop solutions for corrective actions
• The ability to work cross functionality to improve all business processes
• The ability to determine priorities for quality improvement projects
