CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO UNDERTAKE MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Background:
The GIZ Good Financial Governance (GFG) is a bilateral Ghanaian-German technical co-operation programme that seeks to support the fiscal resource mobilisation and public financial management processes of Ghana. GFG has been supporting the Ghana Revenue Authority since 2003. Ghana Revenue Authority was established by ACT 791, 2009 as an integrated Authority bringing together VAT Service, CEPS, Internal Revenue Service and RAGB with their staff, assets and liabilities. To make integration more meaningful and successful, a three (3) year modernisation plan and strategic plan have been developed, produced and launched.

The Authority requires dedicated and competent management staff who would provide exemplary and visionary leadership so that the goals and objectives of the Authority can be met. To develop this kind of human capital, there is an urgent need to equip managers across the Authority with the requisite management and leadership skills. This can only be done through people and the people must be motivated and inspired to share in the vision of their leaders.

In this regard, the GRA and its development partner, GIZ, require the services of a qualified consultant or consultancy firm to deliver a  5 day leadership and talents management training programme for fifty (50) selected officers of the GRA.

Purpose of Assisgnment:
The purpose of this assignment is to deliver a hands-on management and leadership development training programme that will equip participants to become effective leaders, communicate better, manage and implement change.

Scope of the Assignment:
The scope of the assignment includes the following:

•   Management and Leadership skills
•   Change management and conflict resolution
•   Succession planning and talent management

Qualification Required & Experience

The consultant shall possess the following qualification among others:

•   A Master's degree in HRM
•   Well grounded in occupational psychology and related discipline
•   At least ten (10) years practical experience in delivering management and leadership training in both the public and private sectors
•   Demonstrated not less than five (5) years practical experience in transferring knowledge and skills in the areas of manpower organisation, trend analysis and succession planning and talent management
•   Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
