Job description:

Food Preparation:

• This includes chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.

Cooking:

• Utilizing various cooking methods like grilling, frying, sautéing, and baking to prepare dishes according to recipes and standards.

Order Fulfillment:

• Assembling ingredients and cooking dishes according to customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate service.

Maintaining Sanitation and Safety:

• Following strict food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to prevent foodborne illnesses.

Kitchen Organization and Cleanliness:

• Keeping the kitchen, cooking stations, and equipment clean and organized, and adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Inventory Management:

• Monitoring food supplies, potentially assisting with ordering, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.

Collaboration:

• Working with other staff to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation and service.

Qualification:

• Must have completed a catering program or catering apprenticeship.
