Job Summary

• Support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of MTN Ghana’s digital interfaces and experiences.
• The role translates concepts and user needs into clear visual designs, coordinates with agencies and internal teams, and ensures every digital touchpoint meets accessibility, brand, and usability standards

Job Role

• Produce high-quality UI designs and assets (layouts, icons, graphics, prototypes) based on brand and UX guidelines.
• Design and deliver wireframes, user flows, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes for a range of digital products (web, mobile apps, etc.).
• Ensure that all designs are compliant with accessibility standards and the established experiential quality metrics.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and technical constraints in an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with UX researchers and product teams to translate insights into wireframes and mock-ups.
• Plan, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative user research (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing, A/B tests) to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
• Translate research findings into actionable design recommendations and requirements.
• Create user personas, journey maps, and information architecture diagrams.
• Work with agencies and external designers to review deliverables, maintain consistency, and ensure on-time handover.
• Maintain design documentation and component libraries in collaboration with the UX/UI Manager.
• Assist in updating the MTN Ghana Design System with new components and accessibility notes.
• Prepare design files for development, ensuring correct specifications, exports, and annotations.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Software Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation.
• Contribute creative ideas during design sprints, brainstorming, and innovation sessions.
• Track design performance metrics (usability feedback, task success rates) and suggest refinements.
• Ensure all designs comply with MTN’s information security, privacy, and governance standards

Qualification Required & Experience

Education

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study.
• Certification or professional knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies a plus

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital design or UI execution within an agency or corporate environment.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
• Exposure to responsive and mobile design projects.
• Familiarity with WCAG and accessibility standards.
