Job Vacancy For Corporate Communications Executive At Global Media Alliance



Main Duties:

•   The successful candidate will coordinate internal and external global communication programs to drive awareness of the company and its services among target audiences to include associates, media, current and prospective customers, and business partners.
•   Promote and support the company’s position as a one stop media house and thought leader internally, within our industry and beyond through planning and placement of the company’s thought leaders within the appropriate opportunities.
•   Responsible for day-to-day media relations, development and execution of PR and corporate communication campaigns and materials, and the monitoring and reporting on progress of campaigns

Essential Duties:

•   Drafts and edits corporate news releases, editorials and articles for internal quarterly and monthly news briefs.
•   Develops clear, cohesive messages in support of company news and objectives
•   Plans and implements the corporate editorial calendar in support of marketing initiatives, new services and special events.
•   Prepares and distributes PR and communications campaign timelines and calendars.
•   Handles all incoming media inquiries
•   Monitors/measures all company news coverage as well as industry news and prepare reports.
•   Assists with identifying opportunities for media exposure and works directly with agencies to gain media placements.
•   Maintains key media lists and regularly reviews key outlets’ editorial calendars for PR opportunities.
•   Updates the online news center, including company fact sheets, executive bios, press releases, company timeline, editorials, photos and media kits
•   Supports the other units within the company with specific activities such as trade shows and events
•   Supports internal communication efforts with tools such as video, PowerPoint slides, and social media
•   Provides communications support for internal conferences and meetings.
•   Works closely with Marketing Managers to provide PR counsel and create plans that support marketing objectives and sales initiatives
•   Supports the marketing team in the development of a communications and message strategy for all marketing communications
•   Collaborates and assists (when needed) the marketing team and other units – helping it meet common and shared goals
•   Develop and maintain company core messaging.
•   Represent the company as a spokesperson for a wide variety of media inquiries.
•   Develop close, productive relationships with journalists and opinion leaders.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, communications, journalism or related field.
•   2+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications department or agency.
