About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Country Manager – Ghana to take overall responsibility for the performance, growth and development of our Ghana-focused iGaming and sports betting business.

The successful candidate will lead the Ghana market strategy, drive revenue and customer growth, oversee commercial performance, and ensure effective execution across the market. The role requires a strong understanding of the Ghanaian betting industry, customer behaviour, competitive landscape, payments ecosystem and regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall Ghana market strategy.
• Drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention and market development.
• Oversee performance across Sportsbook, Online Casino, Crash Games and other relevant products.
• Develop and optimise customer acquisition strategies across digital marketing, affiliates, partnerships and promotions.
• Lead CRM, retention, reactivation and customer lifecycle strategies.
• Monitor commercial KPIs and use performance data to identify opportunities and corrective actions.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, customer behaviour, pricing and promotions.
• Ensure products, campaigns, promotions and customer communications are appropriately localised for Ghana.
• Work closely with Marketing, CRM, Product, Trading, Casino, Payments, Customer Support, Finance, Technology and Compliance teams.
• Develop strategic partnerships and commercial opportunities.
• Oversee local operational performance and execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners, suppliers and industry stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Ghanaian gaming regulations, AML requirements, responsible gaming standards and internal policies.
• Identify opportunities for further growth and expansion in Ghana and, where relevant, the wider West African market.

Qualification Required & Experience

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in iGaming or online sports betting.
• Previous senior-level experience as a Country Manager, General Manager, Commercial Manager, Head of Market, Head of Operations or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of the Ghanaian betting and gaming market.
• Proven track record in revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention and/or market expansion.
• Strong experience across Sportsbook and Online Casino.
• Good understanding of CRM, acquisition, affiliates, promotions and retention strategies.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills with experience managing KPIs.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Added Advantage

• Senior-level network within the Ghanaian gaming industry.
• Experience with Crash Games and other gaming verticals.
• Knowledge of local payment methods and customer payment behaviour.
• Experience working across other West African markets.
• Experience scaling a gaming operation or launching/growing a gaming brand in Ghana.
