A reputable financial institution in the Ashanti Region is seeking to recruit qualified persons for the following position: Credit Officers

Job Purpose

•To effectively manage and grow the institution's credit portfolio at the Branch level

Qualification required & Experience

•First Degree in Accounting, Finance and Banking or any other related course
•3 years banking experience or a in a related industry
•Commercial Credit Evaluation
•Good understanding of financial statements
•Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving aptitude
•Must have professional, ethical and exercise discretion when dealing with confidential information
•Good knowledge and skills in Microsoft applications
•Must be able to grow and manage credit portfolio
•Ability to justify the rationale for credit recommendations and capability to exercise credit authority within delegated authority
•Ability to prepare and submit timely prudential and management reports
