The African University College of Communications (AUCC), located in Accra, Ghana, seeks an exceptional leader to serve as Dean for the Sam E. Jonah School of Business. The Jonah School offers four academic options: Accounting, Banking & Finance, Human Resource Management and Marketing.

•   Reporting to the President, the Dean is the chief academic, business and administrative officer of the Jonah School and serves as its chief executive officer, providing exceptional vision and inspirational leadership.
•   The dean is expected to take the lead in academic programme development, enhance student recruitment and graduate placement, develop partnerships with other universities, create viable financial resource flows, and maintain productive relationships with its Advisory Board members and other stakeholders.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   To be considered, candidates must have a doctorate, or equivalent, in business administration, management, or related field; scholarly accomplishments corresponding to the rank of tenured professor;
•   At least five years of relevant administrative/managerial experience in positions with progressive responsibilities;
•   An understanding of traditional and adult education, both graduate and undergraduate; and an understanding and knowledge of online and distance education delivery systems.
