Job Summary

Reports to the Country Director and based in Accra (with frequent travel)

Responsible for a wide-ranging remit, which includes Clinical, Outreach, Social Marketing and working with an amazing donor landscape and relationship management (USAID, DFID and Dutch), partnership management and leading a dynamic team of 35-40 team members.

•  In joining our growing programme (currently a small-medium with ambitious plans to grow to a large programme) and working in an exciting and vibrant country you will have a real opportunity to make a difference and see the result of your hard work and dedication to the Marie Stopes International mission of Children by Choice and not Chance and the Ghanaian programme mission of reaching the underserved
•  In order to be successful in the role, you will come from a similar senior management role with proven experience of working cross-culturally (field experience within Africa is essential) and delivering results as well as working with donors, such as USAID. Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills are essential

Qualification Required & Experience

Qualification:

•  University Degree in Business Administration/Health Sciences or any related degree; Postgraduate qualification is desirable
•  Knowledge of Clinical Health, Family Planning, Community Outreach and Social Marketing
•  Evidence of membership with relevant professional body/ies
•  Desirable: Additional qualification in business marketing or finance

This is a local position. Interested Non-Ghanaians must therefore have the necessary legal permits required to work in Ghana
