The Draughtsman shall be responsible for producing mechanical, technical and architectural drawings as well as maps. The position reports to the Chief Engineer.

Role Specific Requirements:

•  Designs equipment utilizing machine design principles, machining, welding, casting, and other fabrication techniques.
•  Develops preliminary sketches, layout, assembly and detail drawings of machines
•  Keeps accurate records of all drafts
•  Programs drawings into automated system for storage and future alterations where necessary
•  Prepares report for project manager when requested
•  Keeps accurate records of all designs and drawing

Qualification Required & Experience

Minimum Qualification:

•  5 years relevant work experience as draughtsman in project office
•  Experience in industrial large projects, preferably desalination, water or energetic ones (Industrial plants)
•  Qualification in engineering
•  Good oral and written communication
•  Strong IT background in  MS suite
•  Knowledge in auto cad software 2dimension and 3dimension.
