Job Summary:

CHF International a Non-Governmental Organization is seeking experienced professionals to recruit to fill the position below for a proposal for an upcoming 5-year USAID funded project on local government capacity building, livelihood and nutrition promotion in the northern region of Ghana.

The position with CHF International in the Northern Region, Ghana, will be pending upon an award by USAID.  The position is full time; 12 months per year over the life of the program.

Driver (0017) - 9 Positions; 3 to be based in each of the Tamale, Gushegu and Salaga Offices).

Three Drivers will transport staff throughout the program target areas, take staff to meetings, and pick-up and drop-off people at the airport.

Qualification Required & Experience

The/each person will report directly to the Administrative Assistant and must have:

•  At least Senior High school completion or higher;
•  Candidate must hold a valid driver’s license minimum C level.;
•  Candidate must be able to communicate in written and spoken English;
•  At least five (5) years of experience as a professional driver;
•  Ability to drive safely and defensively;
•  Good knowledge of traffic rules and regulations;
•  Willing to learn new skills and be ability to travel on rough terrain.
