Job Purpose

• To provide operational support in the management of transport services of the institution

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains proper records on the movement of assigned vehicle
• Ensures availability and logging of trips in log books of assigned vehicle
• Maintains pre and post trip assessment records
• Conveys staff and goods to appropriate destinations
• Collects data for the preparation of reports of the Unit
• Facilitates investigations on vehicles involved in accidents

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of a Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) Certificate
• A Valid driving license not below D class
• A certificate from an accredited driving institute
• A minimum 4 years post license relevant work experience
• Must pass a competitive selection interview process

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of driving rules, regulations and road signs
• Knowledge of emerging and evolving technologies in the transport sector
• Relevant computer applications
