Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced applicants for the position of: Electrical Technician

Specific Duties:

•  Shall be involved in the assembling, installation, testing and maintenance of all electrical equipment/ electronic appliances particularly digital projectors, screens and interactive whiteboards and training tools.
•  Undertake regular or periodic inspection, testing and servicing of various electrical equipment in the office and at the various sales points
•  Ensure effective execution of preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical related systems
•  Maintain record of jobs performed and report to supervisors
•  Assist in the assessment  and purchase of power related equipment
•  Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualification & Experience

Required Experience/Competencies

•  Must have a good general education and holds NVTI Grade1/2 or Electrical Installation Technician
•  A qualification in the use of IT application hardware and software will be a plus.
•  Must have a minimum of two (2) years applicable/related working experience in a similar position
•  Must not be afraid of heights and knows how to use scaffolds
•  Excellent communication and relational skill to be able to liaise efficiently at all levels
•  Willing to work at odd hours
•  Willing to travel with little or no notice
•  Sound knowledge of use of computer systems and applications and networking will be an advantage
•  Disciplined

•  Self motivated
•  Team player
