Job Vacancy For Executive Secretary



The Old Vandals Association - Greater Accra, in its drive to boost participation among its members (alumni of commonwealth Hall, University of Ghana), and to boost fundraising efforts to fund the Association's activities has determined that the new office of the Executive Secretary (ES) should lead this drive

Duties

• The Executive Secretary will be expected to meet his target in significantly growing the branch's revenue by the 3rd month in office
• He will be expected to keep all records of financial transactions, and duly issue receipts in the name of OVA
• He will also be expected to build an OVA database, prepare and manage correspondence, minutes and other documents generated in the course of OVA's work as needed or a directed by the Executive body
• He will be responsible for the organisation of all OVA related meetings and programs as well as Fundraising events within the branch
• Developing and managing a welfare package
• Registering of Old Vandals and Associates into the Association and ensuring members enrol on welfare package
• Publish monthly list of registered branch members in good standing

Qualification Required & Experience

• The position requires administrative, organisation and leadership secretarial skills, knowledge of common software such as Micrsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and social media savvy
• Must possess sufficient computer knowledge to communicate with all members via email and other social media channels in a quick and efficient manner
• Must be confident and bold, with great interpersonal skills and must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken

Hours:

The role will have flexible work hours with a strong focus on KPIs. This ES will work closely with the Executive body in managing OVA's calendar and projects and regularly reporting progress on agreed targets to branch officers.

Pay: The position comes with a very attractive remuneration which is negotiable
