Job Summary

OA is recruiting a FEMALE PSYCHOLOGIST for long and medium term counseling, specializing in the one-on-one counseling of children and young adults suffering from obsessive compulsive disorders and /or depression, sexual and other abuse, abandonment and trauma. Some group counseling will also be required.

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Practical experience in psychology of minimum 5 years with vulnerable children and /or young adults
•  A degree in psychology
•  Has the knowledge to support survivors of sexual abuse, especially young children
•  Has a strong preference for sustained work with a steady caseload of young children
•  Has the ability to conduct psychological assessments and do follow up psychological counseling for trauma, depression, abuse etc
•  Demonstrate good professional boundaries
•  Demonstrate a non judgemental and non-biased attitude
•  Inclusive of all different ethnic groups, religious beliefs and alternative lifestyles
