Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant position of ‘FIELD OFFICER‘ in a leading rural bank in the Eastern Region.

General Purpose

• The Field Officer shall plan, implement and evaluate the Bank’s Microfinance Programme, resulting in the creation and expansion of business.

Job Description

• Identify communities and groups
• Assist in training and formation of groups Appraise loans for disbursement
• Monitor and collection of savings and repayments
• Review and reconciliation of all records
• Prepare field reports for review by the Microfinance Coordinator
• Assist in reviewing all control registers

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of HND in Agribusiness, Marketing or a related discipline
• A minimum of two (2) years work experience in the same or similar role in the banking sector

Competencies & Skills

• In-depth knowledge in Microfinance
• Appreciable customer service orientation with good human relations
• Ability to ride motorbike, and possess a valid licence
• Must be computer literate, with proficiency in T24 banking software and Microsoft office suite
• Self-motivated, analytical & attentive to details
• Demonstrate high standards of integrity, professionalism & adheres to ethical standards
• Good numeracy and coordination skills
