Job Vacancy For Food Production Staff (Kumasi)
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of food production staff is to give manual and technical support to the leadership team in the production facility in the preparation, production and delivery process of our high quality food product. The production staff will also be required to perform project-related jobs within and outside the project facility.
Key Responsibilities
Before Production
• Ensure that there is adequate stock of raw materials in production storeroom before production starts
• Weigh and measure out raw materials for one mix and properly organize materials on pallets under the supervision of the quality manager
• Ensure all tools and implements needed for production are available
• Observe all quality control guidelines given by the quality manager
• Ensure that the production room is clean and organized
During Production
• Weigh out raw materials for other mixes
• Assist in putting raw materials into mixing machine
• Tend to any spill that may occur in the production room
• Complete manufacturing orders for each designated mix
• Operate the machines in the production room under the supervision of the production manager
• Prepare cartons for the packing of finished product
• Collect used containers, buckets, tools, implements, and towels to be cleaned
After Production
• Pack finished product in finished product storage room
• Organize the production room
• Collect production uniforms for cleaning
Other
• Record stock of finished product
• Assist with the off-loading of raw materials during reception
• Assist in loading finished product during dispatch
Qualification Required & Experience
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve
