Job Vacancy For General Credit Co-ordinator (Northern Region)



A reputable and leading Rural Bank in the Northern Region is seeking to recruit qualified persons to fill the following position:-  General Credit Co-ordinator

Job Purpose

Shall be responsible for the Bank’s credit schemes and performs other duties as may be determined by management or immediate supervisor

Key Responsibilities

•  Proposing the development of new bank-funded credit products
•  Reviewing the appraisal system of bank-funded credit applications
•  Assessing the patronage and viability of bank’s credit product
•  Managing the portfolio of bank funded loans
•  Ensuring effective monitoring and recovery of bank funded credit products
•  Submission of appropriate reports on the performance of bank funded credit products

Qualification Required & Experience

•  A university degree with a minimum of Seven years banking experience, Five (5) years should have been in General Manager/microfinance operations in an officer’s grade in any bank
•  A postgraduate training in credit especially in microfinance or financial management or an equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage
•  GCE O’ & A’ Levels with Ten years banking experience, Seven (7) years should have been in General Credit/Microfinance Operations in an officer’s grade in any bank
•  Must have done National Service
