A leading General Insurance Company is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of  General Legal Counsel.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A minimum of seven (7) years at the Bar or Five (5) years relevant experience in corporate legal practice and litigation
•   Be in good standing at the bar
•   Solid understanding and significant experience and knowledge in company law and practice, labour law and insurance law
•   Excellent legal drafting skills, particularly contracts
•   Strong negotiation skills
•   Ability to interact with internal and external contacts and provide professional advice on a daily basis
•   Demonstrate understanding of insurance business
•   Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
