Job Vacancy For General Manager



A 106 guestroom hotel with international branding located about 5 minutes drive from the Airport, Accra, Ghana, attracting a number of tour groups, airlines and corporate guest invites applications from dynamic sales and marketing individual Ghanaians or otherwise or A Management Team to fill the following vacant leadership position:- General Manager

Principal Responsibilities include:-

•  Managing day to day hotel operations
•  Liaising with companies, organisations and individuals to market and promote the hotel's products both intenationally and domestically
•  Working closly with the Accountant to report on all financial transactions
•  Co-ordinating activities of all departmental heads and supervisors
•  Submitting periodic reports on all hotel operations to the Director
•  Designing and implementing human resource policies, with a continuous focus on efficiency, process improvement and training
•  Establishing an employee performance management system to ensure optimum return on investment and applying strong leadership and people management skills
•  Providing direction and leadership in maintaining high standards in the hotel
•  Ensuring adherence to occupational health and safety guidelines
•  Analyzing guest feedback and complaints and offering solutions to grow business
•  Focus on sales and revenue generation
•  Must be ready to set and attain revenue targets

Education Qualification And Experience

•  Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel/Hospitality Management or related discipline from an accredited University or Tertiary Institution
•  Must have a minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience, two (2) years of which must have been in a management position in a reputable hotel
•  Must have a pleasant personality with a strong and proven track record of sales and marketing in the hotel industry
•  Should not be above 50 years of age
