Job Vacancy For Goods Receiving Clerk At Keegan Resources Ghana Ltd

Position: GOODS RECEIVING CLERK

Key Responsibilities:

•   Receive all incoming goods/materials to the Store area/Stock yard, inspect and document receipt, report on damages and discrepancies on orders received if any;
•   Receive inbound goods and arrange for storage (if stock items) or dispatch them to the end user (if direct-­?charge items);
•   Receive stock and non-­?stock items (foreign and local), by physically checking delivered inbound goods against Purchase Order quantities to ensure they tally, and record them accordingly;
•   Coordinate offloading of goods arriving on site according to approved Health, Safety and environmental standards and practices;
•   Maintain and publish operational reports (i.e. Outstanding GRNs, Direct-charge Goods and Offsite repair items); • Ensure due diligence on the quality of goods delivered by:
- rejecting those that Do Not conform to the Purchase Order specs;
- refer such quality issues to the Stores Controller and/or the end -user for resolution;
•   Perform any other duties that may be assigned by your superior officers.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   HND or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain and Logistics;
•   A part qualification from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply will be an advantage;
•   A good knowledge, understanding and working experience of Procurement and Stores operations in the mining industry
•   Minimum of three (3) years post qualification work experience in a similar position in the mining industry;
•   Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and related applications;
•   Well-­?developed oral and written communication skills (i.e. English and Twi);
•   Ability to maintain good working relations with user departments in ensuring that issues with specs, and wrong deliveries are proactively resolved;
•   High level of integrity and honesty.
