Job Vacancy For Group Admin. & HR Manager



A Ghanaian owned Group of Companies is seeking to engage the services of a "Group Admin and Human Resource Manager"

The organisation which is a privately owned has subsidiary companies that engage in industrial and residential estate development, provision of telecommunications services, industrial warehousing, quarrying, road construction, oil and gas services and heavy equipment hiring services.

Job Title: Group Admin. & HR Manager
Reports To: Managing Director

Job Function

Adopt a total strategic management approach to acquiring, developing, utilising and gaining the commitment of the company's human resources to achieve organisational objectives ie, plan, organise and put in place systems that would facilitate the function of hiring employees, enhancing their skills and capabilities for improved performance, making sure that staff are properly plced in terms of job function and enhancing morale in an effective and efficient manner.

Job Summary

•   Assist with the development of policies, procedures and controls that will provide effective and efficient human resource management practices and review same periodically.
•   Develop, implement and manage a centralised recruiting process to fill vacancies in the company based on meeting the criteria of the applicable job description, including merit and efficiency as determined by intelligence, ability, skills, knowledge and experience at the right time and within approved budgets
•   Oversee the organisational Development and Training function and develop, interpret and clarity personnel procedures and policies
•   Prepare and circulate memos, letters, resolutions etc. and communicate decisions emanating from Management meetings to the respective departments and/or person.
•   Assist with the preparation and implementation of human resource plans
•   Ensure the maintenance of efficient personnel records systems and ensure easy accessibility and retrieval of files, documents, reports and reference materials
•   Ensure that all personnel records are safe from unauthorised intrusions
•   Assist in the collection, collation and analysis of data and reports provided by the various departments and the determination of appropriate action to take.
•   Provide leadership in effective conflict resolution for all personnel
•   Serve as a resource person for all departmental heads by being available and accessible to discuss all human resources related issues
•   Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
•   Provide Administrative support for all the functional areas of the Group
•   Perform any other jobs within the scope and intent of the job as may be required fro time to time

Qualification Required & Experience

Job Requirement / Qualifications

•   Minimum of 5 years post MBA graduation relevant experience
•   Must have worked in a reowned Multinational Company in a similiar position
•   Must have sound and in-depth knowledge of the Ghana Labour Laws
•   Should possess strong leadership capabilities
•   Must have problem-solving skills
•   Must have teamwork abilities
•   Should be able to work independently and achieve a high level of accuracy
•   Should be computer literate
•   Should be prepared to wor under extremely difficult situations
