Job Summary

• The successful candidate will join as a Head for Governance and Contract Management in the Network Department.
• (S)He will report to the Director for Network Projects and will be responsible for the operational governance and implementation of strategies related to the AT network unit.
• The Head of Governance and Contract will also ensure that the managed service partners and other service providers are delivering on the service level agreement which includes key performance indicators, customer experience and quality indicators.
• S(He) has oversight responsibility for contract management as well.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the various Directors within the CTO Function to deliver true value to the business by driving execution of operational strategies.
• Responsible for contract management
• Manages a Virtual team of experts (L3 support) to support in delivery of reliable services.
• Responsible for SLA management and Service Credit/Bonus-Malus computation for Managed Service Partners
• Manage and report the operational activities performed by the service providers in line with agreed operating procedure and industry standard practice.
• Work with the service providers (MS) to formulate the O&M strategy for AT for the network domains.
• Work with the Director of Operation his direct reports and service providers/partners on continuous service improvements and reliable service delivery.
• Ensuring that the service providers are adhering to the agreed service levels.
• Ensure that teams work closely with service providers to deliver a reliable network.
• Appraise operating and emergency procedures, and initiate improvements, to minimize risk to the critical service delivery.
• Support teams with deep dive analysis on service providers’ performance and process alignment.
• Evaluate performance reports, initiate and coordinate improvement programs based on reported performance.
• Manage the performance of all vendors (level 1- 3) and/ internal teams under the MNO domain. Handle all vendor escalations.
• Schedule periodic meetings with all vendors under MNO to discuss performance, challenges and AOB.
• Handle all internal escalations within the Network team and other internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Planning and PMO to address all network expansions needs.
• Ensure proper handover of new and expanded nodes are integrated into production environment.
• Derive cost efficient ways of reducing operational cost without compromising of service quality and continual operational efficiency.
• Develop, mentor/coach and train team to meet individual career aspirations and team goals.
• Foster a collaborative working relationship within systems operations team and across the organizations.
• Responsible for Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery planning coordination and reporting
• Any other task that will be added.

Required Qualification and Experience

• 6+ years Extensive experience in similar or same position. Have a good management background in the Telecommunication industry.
• preferably in the Telecom Network Operation and Project Management Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication/Computer Science/IT/Engineering.
• Master’s degree in engineering and management is an added advantage.

Core Competencies: Essential Knowledge& Skills

Knowledge:

• PS, CS, Transmission, RAN, Field Engineering Services and Passive Infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of OPEX/Quality drivers in the Telecoms environment
• Strong experience and understanding of Project Management methodology.
• In Depth understanding of Vendor and contract management, KPI/SLA management with a focus on Customer Experience, Quality of Service.
