Job Specification:

The main purpose of the position is the canvassing of and liaison with potential tenants to establish and maintain good relationships in order to market and lease vacant space at the best possible terms. The incumbent will assume primary responsibility for initiating, negotiating and closing deals on leasing etc.

Main tasks will include: client liaison, prospecting, canvassing, negotiating and conclusion of deals.

Qualification Required & Experience

Minimum Requirements for Head of Commercial Brokerage:

•   The Applicant must have five (5) years relevant experience, preferably as a Property broker (Land Economy, Real Estate Management or any property related degree)
•   The Applicant must be a strong independent worker with excellent net working skills with a good track record in the real estate sectors locally and abroad.
•   Must have good understanding of landlord and tenant matters.
•   Must have high attention to detail and must be Result oriented.
•   Must have sound judgment and decision making ability.
•   Must have excellent written and verbal communicating skills
•   Must have clean driver's license.
•   Able to make presentation to CEO's, Boards and Senior Management.

Skills required:

•   Strong Financial analysis Skills.
•   Excellent Broking abilities.
•   Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
•   Able to use computer tracking system

Knowledge required in the Property/Real estate Market:

•   In depth knowledge of the Property market trends and analysis
•   Lease terms and principles
•   Relevant statutory and legal aspects in Real Estate.
•   Understanding of leasing practices, business trends

Competencies required:

•   Dealmaker (including negotiation, financial and business acumen)
•   Initiative oriented
•   Self confidence
