Job Vacancy For Head of Corporate and Project Finance



A reputable bank is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced person with demonstrated track record in corporate finance and syndicated lending for the position of: Head of Corporate and Project Finance

Overall Purpose

To supervise and coordinate corporate finance operations, ensuring that all proposals and deliverables generally meet corporate finance industry practices and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the incumbent include but not limited to the following:

• Lead and coordinate Business Development for the origination, execution and distribution process for syndicated and structured
• Originate and obtain Mandated Lead Arranger (MLA) role for loan syndication and participate for potential loan syndication from other Banks.
• Develop and maintain business on reciprocal basis, with the network of banks and investors in infrastructure markets
• Manage both internal and external stakeholders in project deals to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Screen new projects using reports from feasibility studies and other relevant documents to determine their financial viability and make the necessary recommendations to the Credit Committee.
• Develop and implement appropriate strategies using information from market and industry trends in accordance with the Bank's goals
• Develop and drive deposit targets in accordance with the Bank's goals and lead client relationship management.
• Manage the performance of team members and provide guidance for career development, including identification of training needs and development of performance improvement plans for team

Qualification Required & Experience

• Relevant and Strong First Degree plus relevant hands-on extensive experience in corporate finance in progressive management positions.
• Master of Business Administration (Finance Option).
• Minimum of 10 years of working experience in corporate and project finance

Technical Competencies

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent skills in financial modelling
• Ability to effectively write and present reports
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suit
• A broad and lateral thinking ability
