A reputable rural bank in the Ahafo Region seeks the services of highly skilled, dynamic, motivated, result-oriented and qualified key management persons to join its team of professionals as follows: Head of Credit

Job Description

•The person shall prepare Credit strategy of the bank
•The person shall prepare and deliver presentations and reports regarding key credit issues, exposures and the periodic Credit review report to the Chief Executive Officer
•Prepare monthly credit report, submit all loans and report credit references bureaus and register all securities in the collateral registry
•Carry out regular credit facility reviews to ensure compliance with terms and conditions of the credit
•Monitor all loans and report on early warning signs to the Chief Executive Officer
•Maintain minimum loan recovery rate of 95% on monthly basis
•Achieve monthly recovery rate of 15% in respect of overdue loans

Qualification Required & Experience

•Master's degree in a related field
•Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACIB, CICMG, prject management, etc. is an added advantage
•Minimum of 8 years of working experience in a similar position in the rural banking industry, with 3 years in managerial position

Required Skills / Attributes

•Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
•Good planning, quantitative and analytical skills
•Good understanding of IFRS9 credit impairment models
•Be able t work independently
•Be able to work under pressure
