Job Vacancy For Head of Digital Sales At Tigo Ghana



Role Purpose

The core purpose of this role will be to drive the acquisition of subscribers that use data on our network. The candidate selected for this role will therefore be required to manage the digital sales work stream which is a Sales area that sits alongside Voice and Mobile Financial Services. This role reports to the Head of Sales.

Key Responsibilities

You will drive and be the key owner to the following responsibilities:

•   Acquisition of data subscribers, smartphones and other data device sales;
•   Supporting, guiding and supervising the Digital Sales Managers by:
•   Managing the data freelancer channel of 13+ Digital Sales Supervisors and 300+ agents;
•   Managing the Dealers with regards to digital products and devices;
•   Managing 600+ retailers not directly managed by the Dealers.
•   Frequent travel will be required for this role.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A minimum educational qualification of a Master’s degree in business or any other relevant discipline;
•   Three (3) to five (5) years management experience working with and motivating cross functional teams;
•   One (1) to three (3) years working experience in sales, preferably in an FMCG or a Telecommunication Company;
•   Must be fluent in English with strong competencies in Excel and data analysis;
•   A Self-starter, highly organised, and results driven;
•   Strategic planning, relationship management and project management;
•   Ability to develop sales strategies that will align to customer and segment needs;
•   Excellent communication, coordination & presentation skills;
•   Exemplary leadership and people management skills;
•   Highly logical & systematic, team player, independent & fast learner.
