Job Vacancy For Head of Internal Audit



Position Summary

•The Head of Internal Audit will provide independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal control systems across all hotel operations
•This strategic role reports directly to the Board of Directors of the Hotel and plays a critical part in safeguarding assets, ensuring compliance and strengthening operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement a comprehensive risk-based internal audit strategy
•Lead and manage the internal audit function across all departments
•Evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls, operational procedures, and compliance systems
•Oversee audits of revenue management, procurement, inventory, payroll and asset management
•Identify financial, operational and regulatory risks and recommend mitigation strategies
•Ensure compliance with hospitality regulations, corporate policies and statutory requirements
•Prepare and present audit findings and strategic recommendations to the Board
•Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities
•Promote a culture of accountability, transparency and continuous improvement

Qualification Required & Experience

•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline (Master's degree preferred)
•Professional certification required (CIA, ICA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
•Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive audit experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
•Prior experience in the hospitality or luxury hotel sector strongly preferred
•Strong knowledge of internal controls, enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance.
•Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
•Exceptional analytical, reporting and presentation skills
•High level of integrity, discretion and professional ethics
