Our company "Cements de I'Afrique Ghana LTD" (CIMAF Ghana Ltd) is a cement manufacturing company located at the Freezone Enclave in Tema, Ghana and operating in over 13 African countries.

Job Description

•   Drawing up the technical requirements for new acquisitions and services and taking part in discussions with suppliers or service providers.
•   Giving his/her technical agreement to valide the purchasing specifications
•   Taking part in the drawing up of the mechanical maintenance budget
•   Ensuring the preparation of planning of preventive interventions and the major shutdowns of works in coordination with the supervisors, technicians and assistants
•   Drawing up the procedures of preventive and curative interventions on the mechanical plants
•   Updating the recording of documents that are related to the works of major shutdowns
•   Ensuring the preparation of the necessary documents for meetings and action plans
•   Taking part in meetings, updating and circulation of planning
•   Updating the documents for managed equipment
•   Ensuring the recording of documents related to the management system: action plans, order of works, planning, curve of indicators, planning of annual shutdowns
•   Proposing improvements meant for the plants and for the mode of operations
•   Ensure the supervision and training of his team
•   Validating the checking in and out of the team at the system level
•   Reporting any anomalies related to safety, hygiene and environment to the supervisor
•   Enforcing the rules of safety by the maintenance team of CIMAF and the maintenance agents
•   Respecting the riles of waste management

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Candidate must have a Degree in Engineering, HND certificate in Engineering, certificate in mechanics or electro mechanic, on-the-job training with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar field
•   Experience in a cement manufacturing company will be an advantage
