A well-established and fast expanding school complex in Tema is looking for a goal-driven, self-motivated person with extensive experience in the education sector to lead a staff of over 40 teachers and move the school with a population of more than 500 pupils to the highest standards of learning, with an objective of achieving academic excellence

Qualification Required & Experience

• Should hold a Master's Degree in education or equivalent in any related course
• Must have 5 years of work experience as a headteacher or in a similar position
• Have a highly professional teacher status
• Be familiar with the current standard based curriculum used by the Ghana Education Service.
• Must be computer literate
• Age Limit: 40 to 55 years
• Retired former headteachers with the required qualifications and skills may be considered

Skills / Competencies

The successful applicant must have various prerequisite skills and competencies

• Must have leadership skills and be a team player
• Be highly resourceful, goal-driven, emphatic, detail-oriented and adaptable
• Should be able to take quick decisions
• Ability to work under extreme pressure
• Must be innovative and able to design academic courses
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
