Ghana Railway Development Authority is seeking to recruit Heavy Locomotive Maintenance Officer (2 Positions).

Job Summary

•To supervise maintenance teams and coordinate locomotive fleet activities

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise scheduled inspections, servicing and preventive maintenance on diesel-electric locomotives.
•Plan and monitor diagnosis and mechanical system faults
•Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance procedures and operational requirements
•Coordinate with operations and engineering teams to report on maintenance

Qualification Required & Experience

•Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
•Minimum of 4 years industrial experience in locomotive or heavy equipment maintenance
•Strong leadership, planning and supervisory skills
•Good knowledge of railway maintenance procedures and workplace safety standards
