The Goethe-Institut in Accra is seeking a: Honorary teachers (Local power)

Qualification Required & Experience

Requirements

•Native German or C1 level for non-native speakers
•Completed university studies DaF, German studies or a comparable education
•Teaching experience at a language course provider
•Familiarity with current teaching materials for DaF
•Familiarity with learning-oriented forms of teaching and modern teaching technology
•High intercultural competence and team and communication skills
•Willingness to conduct lessons in the evenings and Saturdays

Areas of responsibility

•Teaching in levels A1 - C1
•Teaching preparation and follow-up
•Correction of homework and testing
•Conducting central examinations of the Goethe-Institut

•A fee of 144.00 GHS for each UE paid and a minimum of 20 UE per week.
