We are in the hospitality industry in Accra and seek to recruit a competent Internal Audit Officer

Main Duties and Responsibilities

•   To plan, organise and carry out the internal audit functions
•   Daily auditing of production and sales of outlets operations
•   Daily auditing of front office,restaurant and kitchen activities
•   Assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and providing relevant recommendations for improvement
•   Monthly report on the findings and recommendations, and monitor management’s response and implementation of same
•   To work with management to put a system in place which ensures that all major risks of the hotel are identified and analysed, on daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must hold HND in Accountancy or part 2 of a Professional Accountancy Qualification of ICAG, ACCA, CIMA
•   Must have worked for at least 2 years in similar position

Skills, Abilities & Experience

•   Excellent presentation, spoken and written communication skills
•   Excellent interpersonal skills
•   Strong organisational, analytical and leadership skills
•   A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a similar position
•   Good understanding of accounting,financial reporting  and internal control policies and procedures
•   Familiar with audit process
•   Must have computer literate, able to handle presentation, be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Work
•   Ability to work independently and in teams, high accuracy, detail-oriented, strong critical thinking and analytical thinnking
•   Maximum age limit-30 years
•   Good knowledge of Quick Books Accounting Software is a plus
