Job Vacancy For Inventory Management Lead



Job Purpose

• The role assists in financial control of all TGL owned material inventories in support of TGL operating assets with primary focus on KNK FPSO operations
• Understands and conforms to existing inventory accounting requirements set by TGL Finance team, JV and MM Whse internal procedures and work processes
• This role is expected to develop, articulate and execute inventory strategies in support of the Business (KnK FPSO Ops, Welfa, Subsea)
• Responsible for inventory optimisation, controls, analysis and reporting with emphasis on continuous improvement

Responsibilities / Key Objectives

• Act as an SME and point of contact in the area of inventory management within the L&M team and its stakeholders
• Supports and executes on-going analysis and optimisation of KNK inventory stocking level settings to ensure alignment of the business demand and inventory holding account budget
• Ensures highest level of quality with regards to the data integrity of each inventory Master record
• Manages IM scope of the materials master request share-point process
• Performs, monitors and ensures timely inputs of daily inventory transactions (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, etc)
• Recommends and coordinates with the business stocking level adjustments
• Manages daily MRP reports, reviews and analyses the report output data (PR's) to make informed inventory replenishment decisions
• Assists with updating, development and implementation of TGL inventory management procedures and work processes
• Facilities and coordinates execution of the TGL execution of the TGL materials disposal process
• Assist with evaluation of all execess materials returns, WO, TAR's, Projects and determine appropriate disposition
• Works closely with the warehouse team to execute on-going stock-check process utilising maxima cycle-count process
• Identifies and monitors MM Whse Key Performance indicators that track and communicate progress on inventory and warehouse
• Supports integration of TGL maxim with existing SAP inventory system
• Work closely with maximo admin on CI of the existing maximo system

Qualification Required & Experience

• A Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Engineering

Skills / Experience

• 5+ years demonstrate experience in inventory management field preferably within O&G or related industry
• Good analytical and numeracy skills coupled with attention to detail and strong work ethics are essential
• Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication and influence leadership and stakeholders
• Hands on experience with Maximo and/or SAP a plus
• Working proficiency in MS Office basic software tools such as word, excel, power point etc required
• Working knowledge business objects or similar reporting tools a plus
• Previous experience within an oil and gas or mining operating environment a plus
• Familiarization with equipment and materials employed in Oil & gas industry a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work under pressure
• Experience working a multi-cultural environment
