Job Title: IT Manager - Networks, Systems And Telecommunications

Qualification Required & Experience

Applicants must satisfy the criteria below:

• Minimum Education – of a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline.
• Having any of the following professional certifications (Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), and/or Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professional and or Expert (CCNA/P/E) would be an advantage.

Skills Required

Knowledge & Experience

At least 5 to 10 years progressive management experience overseeing and leading IT

• Experience in managing an IT networks and Systems within any organisation or an institution of higher learning or in the public or private section.
• Should understand computer systems, networks, security
• Should understand IP Phone deployment and SIP functionality in Telecommunication
• Should have experience in the deployment of IP based PABX
• Should have ability to support IT security deployment for an Institutions network and IT services
• Should have working knowledge of DNS, Active Directory, Virtual Machine configurations and Mail system support.
• Experience in managing external vendor relationships and broad knowledge of trends and future directions of • IT and its application in higher education.
• Excellent understanding of project management principles.
• Ability to communicate concepts ‘and processes clearly and effectively in writing
