The Role:
The successful candidate will support the IT Security manager to maintain a secure and reliable environment in which to utilise information and related technology to achieve the business objectives of Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Perform risk assessments on resoures and projects to be protected
•  Perform vulnerability assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls
•  Provide technical security expertise to IT staff to ensure that the requisite level of security is implemented in all information assets
•  Maintain information security policies that support business goals and objectives, and are consistent with applicable laws and regulations
•  Monitor and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of information security controls and the compliance with information security policies
•  Maintain access rules and exercises adequate control over the administration of user ID's
•  Support IT Security manager to conduct periodic IT audits/assessments
•  Log and respond to security incidents, and report incidents to business unit management based on severity
•  Investigate, track and conclude security incidents that have occurred within the network

Remuneration: Negotiable according to experience, knowledge and skills

Qualification Required & Experience

•  A degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Computer Engineering
•  Relevant certifications include:
•  Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA);
•  Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and or Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC);
•  Networking Certification, Operating System Certification and Database Certification
•  A minimum of 2 years experience in information security/technology risk reviews across enterprise operating systems, databases, banking applications and networks OR
•  A minimum of 2 years experience in any enterprise operating system, database and banking application administration
•  In addition to 1 year experience in Enterprise network administration system, preferably Cisco networks
•  Strong technical competence in scripting or Microsoft.net programming platforms preferably ASP.net & C#
