One of Ghana’s leading Communication consulting firms in Accra requires a qualified person to fill the position of Legal & Compliance Officer

Job Summary

•   Serves as Secretary to the company's Board of Directors
•   Provides advice on legal issues related to the company and proposes policies, procedures and other systems that will ensure legal compliance in the company's operations
•   Manages all/relevant company regulatory affairs
•   Handles company contracts
•   Represents the company on all legal (civil and/or criminal) matters to ensure the protection of the corporate interest at all times
•   Liaises with the company's external counsel, when necessary, to consider legal issues affecting the company in any litigation
•   Advises all departments on legal matters to ensure that there are no infringements of laws and regulations
•   Ensures that all landed properties of the company are property documented

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) and qualifying certificate in law from Ghana School of Law

Technical Competencies (Key Job knowledge and skills)

•   At least three(3) years post-qualification experience required
•   Knowledge and application of the Labour Laws and regulations required
•   Ability to think strategically and translate into realistic action plans
