Koforidua Technical University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for appointment to teaching and non-teaching staff position: Legal Officer

Specific Roles

• Legal Officer who will head the University Legal Office and will be responsible to the Registrar.
• He/she shall be required to show high qualities of sound judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, precision and professionalism in the area of specialisation

Duties and Responsibilities

The Legal Officer shall be responsible for all legal matters of the University which shall include but not limited to:

• Advising the Vice Chancellor on contracts being entered into by the University
• Handling legal suits against the University at the Courts of Justice and adjudicating bodies

Qualification Required & Experience

The applicant must:

• Possess LLB and BL degrees and be a qualified Lawyer, duly called to the Bar by the Ghana bar Association
• Have 6 years post-qualification experience at the Bar
• Have completed National Service

In Addition

• The applicants shall be required to produce a write-up work done as a Practising Lawyer, based on work output, for two 2 external assessor's evaluation
