Job Summary

•   Responsible for providing meaningful reporting on the business performance against the enterprise wide projects to enable the organisation gain insight to support decision making and risk management within portfolios and across the enterprise.
•   In addition, provides assurance on practices within the EPMO and guidance to business units in line with Bright Delivery Methodology (BDM) related to portfolio performance and financial KPIs.

Job Role

•   Acts as the Custodian of BDM reporting framework and related documents for the organization.
•   Consolidate information required to produce performance reports for Project Portfolio Management Office (PPMO) as related to the EPMO delivery KPIs as per BRIGHT strategy.
•   Provide reporting guidance to Portfolio managers for the portfolio governance committees
•   Ensuring the right level of information and insight is available for reporting
•   Conduct diagnostics on a regular basis across all portfolios within the PMO office to assess the health of the project pipeline and ability to identify, plan and execute on projects effectively.
•   Measure the quality and assurance outcomes as defined by the quality and assurance factors necessary for optimal delivery, such as project management effectiveness, business analysis effectiveness and portfolio management effectiveness.
•   Responsibility for the execution and maintenance of the PMO maturity assessments and guidelines
•   Engage with respective stakeholders to correct or improve practices that are seen to negatively impact the PMO effectiveness
•   Ensure productive stakeholder engagements and serve as a change agent to ensure the portfolio is positively positioned in the organization.
•   Assists the business in development of business cases for projects.
•   Supports related-business unit strategy formulation as pertains to the portfolio and translate the objectives and ideas into projects with well-defined milestones and performance measures.
•   Ensures alignment and integration of the cross-functional areas required to facilitate Project financial and benefits tracking through participation in portfolio governance structures and PPMO defined practices

Qualification Required & Experience

Education

•   Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management
Experience
•   Minimum of 5 years consistent work experience covering similar functions in multinational manufacturing and telecommunication companies of which 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
•   At least a minimum of 1 year GSM Telecommunication experience.

•   Adequate knowledge in Program & Project Management
•   Adequate knowledge in Business & Financial Acumen
•   Adequate knowledge in Project Performance Management
•   Adequate knowledge in Compliance and risk management
•   Basic understanding of GSM operations
•   Knowledge of telecommunications industry.
•   Sound understanding of the GSM industry
•   Adequate knowledge of reporting tools e.g. Power BI
