Job Summary:
•The Manager, Cloud Delivery is responsible for end-to-end delivery, governance, and lifecycle management of the organisation’s cloud platforms (Public, Private, Hybrid) to ensure reliability, availability, performance, and security.

Job Role
•Own the end-to-end delivery and operations of IT infrastructure delivery.
•Lead the cloud services (public, private, hybrid).
•Plan and lead migration waves (e.g., landing zones, workload transitions) and coordinate transitions to operations.
•Drive process optimization, standardization, documentation discipline, and post?implementation reviews to improve delivery predictability and operational stability.
•Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of all cloud platforms.
•Oversee 24/7 operations, incident management, and service restoration.
•Drive continuous improvement in service uptime and user experience.
•Establish and enforce cloud governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
•Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, CIS benchmarks).
•Lead risk assessments, audits, and remediation activities.
•Implement cost governance and financial controls (FinOps practices).
•Ensure proper access control, identity management, and audit trails.
•Manage the full lifecycle of cloud platforms (design, build, operate, optimize, retire).
•Drive capacity planning, scaling strategies, and lifecycle upgrades.
•Lead patching, upgrades, and technology refresh cycles.
•Ensure standardization and automation across environments.
•Ensure cloud environments meet security-by-design principles.
•Implement and oversee cloud security controls (network security, encryption, endpoint protection).
•Lead disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP).
•Conduct regular resilience testing (failover, backup validation).
•Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
•Enable CI/CD pipeline integration with cloud platforms.
•Reduce manual interventions through orchestration and automation.
•Support development teams with self-service cloud capabilities.
•Manage relationships with cloud providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
•Oversee managed service providers and outsourcing partners.
•Ensure vendor performance meets contractual obligations and SLAs.
•Support commercial negotiations and cost management.
•Close all the Section’s Audit Observations within the agreed timelines.
Qualification Required & Experience
Education
•Minimum of a University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study
•Professional certifications advantageous (e.g., ITIL, COBIT5, PRINCE2/PMP, cloud (Azure/AWS), security fundamentals) a must.
•MBA/Master’s degree is an added advantage.
Experience
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure (data centre, network services, compute/storage, end?user services and/or cloud), including delivery accountability for multiple initiatives with 3 years in a supervisory role.
•Proven experience managing vendors/partners in project or managed services contexts and driving SLA/KPI performance.
•Experience in telecoms/regulated environments and multi?stakeholder delivery models is advantageous.

•Delivery leadership: planning, prioritization, dependency management, benefits tracking, and escalation management.
•Knowledge of IT service management, reliability, capacity, monitoring, incident/problem linkages and DR/BCP requirements.
•Structured root cause thinking, data-driven decisions, and risk-based trade-offs.
•Stakeholder Management, negotiation and influence across technical and business teams.
