Inspire Her Ghana seeks a passionate and experienced Marketing and Communication Consultant to join our team

Job Summary:

• The Marketing and Communication Consultant will be responsible for spearheading the development of comprehensive marketing strategies for the organization, its products, and services.
• Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the incumbent will oversee the seamless execution of these strategies, monitor their effectiveness through established metrics, and actively engage in promoting brand visibility.
• Additionally, the role will entail identifying and nurturing potential corporate and business partnerships to further the organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement then organizations marketing plans.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive communications plan for the Inspire Her initiative, with a particular emphasis on driving behavioral change related to menstruation.
• Strategizes and execute initiatives to enhance the organization's brand visibility across various platforms and channels.
• Proactively seek out and evaluate opportunities for corporate and business partnerships that align with the organization's objectives.
• Design and implement targeted marketing promotions aimed at increasing the uptake of the organization's products, with a specific focus on reusable sanitary pads and related items.
• Foster productive relationships with media outlets to ensure comprehensive coverage of the organization's activities, including feature articles and promotional programs.
• Lead the development and execution of engaging multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns, leveraging email, web, social media, paid advertising, and event exhibitions to maximize reach and impact.
• Create compelling content, including monthly newsletters, dedicated emails, and social media posts, to effectively communicate with stakeholders and drive engagement.
• Manage and maintain the organization's website, ensuring that it is regularly updated with relevant and engaging content that reflects the organization's brand identity.
• Take charge of the organization's social media presence, including day-to-day management of various channels and tools, to foster community engagement and enhance brand visibility.
• Produce high-quality written content for a variety of purposes, including articles, reports, and marketing materials, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with the organization's messaging and branding.
• Cultivate and nurture a strong membership base for the Inspire Her Community, focusing on member engagement, retention, and recruitment efforts.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's communications activities, utilizing key analytics to inform decision-making and demonstrate impact to internal and external stakeholders.
• Track product uptake and client feedback, utilizing insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Represent the organization at external events and exhibitions, effectively promoting membership and participation in sector activities.
• Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications Required & Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications in marketing or communications would be advantageous.
• At least 3 years of relevant post-graduation work experience in marketing and communications roles, preferably within the nonprofit sector or related industries.
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, donors, and community members.
• Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand visibility, engagement, and growth.
• Strong understanding of product and service marketing principles, with experience in marketing to diverse audiences, including young people.
• Proficiency in utilizing a wide range of marketing and communication channels, tools, and platforms, including digital and social media.
• Experience in managing and working with brands to enhance visibility and recognition, including developing and implementing brand guidelines and standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage marketing research and analysis techniques to inform decision-making and strategy development.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for a variety of purposes and audiences.
• Experience in generating infographics is required. Graphic design skills will be an advantage.
• Previous experience in writing and delivering a variety of publications, including newsletters, articles, reports, and marketing materials.
• Familiarity with international NGOs or multilateral/bilateral agencies, government agencies, grassroot organizations and communities, and a strong commitment to advancing women's and girls' right, women’s empowerment, menstrual health, sexual and reproductive health, and related issues.
• Customer-focused mindset with exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels, from government officials to community members.
• A collaborative team player with strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Innovative mindset with a willingness to think creatively and take initiative in identifying and pursuing opportunities for organizational growth and success.
