We are the sole authorized dealer of new coaches, construction equipment (earth moving equipment) and generators of all capacities. We also maintain the capability to provide comprehensive after sale service with genuine spare parts of our range of products. Additionally we provide servicing packages for other brands of vehicles in our product range enabling our customers to fully focus on their businesses. We also provide equipment hiring and rental services to clients in the construction and mining industries: Marketing and Sales Manager

Objective

Responsible for the overall marketing efforts and plans and the implementation of sales, marketing and product development programs (with Service manager), both short and long range, targeted towards existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates

Key Tasks and Account Abilities

•   Develops and implements strategic marketing and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
•   Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets for products and services.
•   Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
•   Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
•   Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
•   Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
•   Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
•   Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
•   Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
•   Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and present to executive management.
•   Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all products lines, promotional materials and events.
•   Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities
•   Directs staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs
•   Represents the company at trade association meetings to promote products
•   Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationship
•   coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units
•   Analyses and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirement
•   Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansion
•   Reviews and analyses sales performance against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness
•   Directs product research and development

Supervisory Responsibilities

•   Manages and directs staff including recruitment, selection and development to achieve company goals and objectives

Language and Mathematical Skills

•   Demonstrated in-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principles. Ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers.

Reasoning Ability

•   Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Master's Degree or Post Graduate Diploma with concentration in Marketing

Required Skills and Abilities

•   Financial planning and strategy, marketing concepts, positioning, people management, territory management, sales planning, people management, territory management, sales planning, competitive analyses, understanding the customers, products development, client relationship, creative services.

•   Ten (10) years post qualification working experience with at least 5 years in management position.
