Job Summary

The M&E Coordinator is responsible for guiding the overall M&E strategy and implementation of related activities within MSIG and its partners. S/he is responsible for providing timely and relevant information to project stakeholders,

Key Responsibilities include:

•   Coordinate the development of M&E system to ensure  that the overall design aligns with MSIG programmatic framework.
•   Review existing indicators, streamline and harmonize indicator set and reporting tools to meet the requirements of the program
•   Establish and manage routine internal reporting processes related to data collection
•   Work closely with the data management team and specialists to ensure adequate coordination and supervision of ongoing and new projects
•   Coordinate the development, compilation and sharing of evidence in a timely manner to enhance effective decision
•   Develop plans, including logical frameworks and accurate budgets to conduct evaluations
•   Provide leadership and capacity building for M&E officers/Assistants/field data collectors
•   Facilitate the training of M&E officers, field data collectors and community participants
•   Contribute input in support of research and grant proposals, publications and conference presentations
•   Research and pursue innovations that might present research opportunities for MSI
•   Coordinate and Supervise the work of the M & E Officers and manage the   M & E unit

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Economics
•   Masters in Population Studies or related field will be an advantage
•   Fluent English both oral and written.
