Best Western Premier Hotel, a reputable 4-Star Hotel in Accra at the Airport Residential Area, is ready to offer the following job opportunities. As part of expanding its business, the hotel seeks the services of a dynamic, resourceful and highly motivated individuals to serve as:- Movie Theatre Manager

Role:

Manager of the auditorium theatre will oversee it operations, plan for successful growth and to meet the goals and objectives established by management for our 250-seater state of the art auditorium, for our in-house and walk-in guest in a defined category.

Qualification Required & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree and one who has received training in subjects such as management, business studies, travel, leisure or tourism studies
• Hospitality or arts management experience (3 years or more)
• Good knowledge of state of the art movie devices
• Supervisory experience: hiring, evaluating, firing, good problem solving
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands
• Excellent business and IT skills
• Self-confident, with commercial awareness and ability to establish and maintain good relationships with a wide variety of people

Required Skills

• Anticipated 40 hour work per week (work even during late evenings and weekends)
• Able and willing to work extra hours
• Have good interpersonal skills, a team player, leader and mentor
• Be able to work with little or no supervision and have good writing, strong analytical and communication skills
• Must be meticulous, pay attention to detail and follow-ups
• Ability to mastermind promotional events at cinema, hosting film premieres etc.

Duties:

• In charge of all aspects of the day-to-day oversight of cinemas
• Coordinate long-range planning process with management
• Investigate new business opportunities and make recommendations to management
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws: licenses, permits, health regulations, employment
• Program film selections and other performance offerings
• Ensure adequate staff coverage for effective daily operation
• Book rentals of the theater and ensure client's needs are met and achieve revenue targets
• Create and maintain coherent in-theater image
• Advertise and promote programs
• Work with management and staff to plan and coordinate sponsored public events
• Ensure orientation and on-the-job training for all staff
• Ensure a safe, health workplace for theatre staff and guests
